Johnny Ho

Started watching Trimming Success...same thing i did as usual, skipped the rest, only watch Wayne's part....and there, i finish the series...

my review:

wow, i think he is actually the star in this show...he outshone everyone else...including the best actor 2006, kevin cheng, who seem to me like stands like a log in the show all the time...i agree the show will be really boring without wayne's role...which reminds me a lot as 社长 in Off Pedder, they also have the same name, 阿昇....Besides Raymond in 識法代言人, most of his characters are 乡下佬。。in Trimming Success he plays a holland chinese immigrant coming back to hongkong...which i think he potrays it really well...from his dressing and his talking style...i think this guy is a genius. how many person can really act a different role in similar channel/station drama, and not bring their shadow to it...just like 社长， totally fresh and different from what he used to be...this time, johnny is more like a mysterious, smart, yet faithful, nice, friendly, kind guy...he manage to act as likeable, but not perfect like unbelievable perfect...i love the part where he started turning mean...which i think he is perfect at roles which requires him to be the good and bad guy at the same time....this time, the bad guy part is lesser but i think this is his style...no one can do this better than him...

if i were nadia, i would choose 阿昇

although, i dislike a few things, why does he always have his sling bag with him??? always...is that suppose to be european style??? and also him chewing the gum the whole time?? is that suppose to be european as well??? haha....welll, answer is, indeed...both 2 are significant chinese living in europe pattern...i believe they did a survey....but i notice wayne is very hunched in most of the show...this time it's better...but not as straight as 社长。。。if i don't know him, i might thought those are two different person....is he acting them out?? or what??

so attentive, so attracting, intelligent smart, 好有魅力。。charming

and also he is a cook in the show, showed some skill with the wok, as amazing as in Beautiful cooking...and also when he brings the food out of the kitchen after their mum passed away...i was like thinking, this guy is really the whole pillar in the show...he is so attractive...and stealing everyone's limelight...and not only in the show, in real life he must be this nice family guy as well....i guess his role was nicely written....good for him...

是不是很像笑面虎？？？

also this show was in 2006, the time where he had to go for some surgery...not sure before or after, but he only got 2 series in 2006, which is safe guard and this one...so this two are my favourite in 2006...haha....so, this is even way before The gentle crackdown 2 where he as a supporting role outshine the main actor..主角。。or is he the 第二主角 here?? but he is the supporting role in safe guard and gentle crackdown, so i suppose he is supporting role here as well...kevin is the leading role...though i still think he is more like the leading role...haha...as usual....

wayne saved the day in the finale

love how in the first episode, he made his mysterious entrance to the Stanley...how he mislead the audience, me in particular, that he has a bad intention coming back from Holland, especially the scene at night in the bedroom talking to his father, that reminds me of some 变态佬。。。哈哈

this is why his fans said that his acting has a lot of texture (層次)...i totally agree and he manage to capture people's attention...all eyes on him NOW...as for his love relationship with Halina Tam, reminds me a lot with Gentle Crackdown 1, similar storyline, moving from 古装 to 现代...i have to admit im not a fan of halina, but their chemistry is pretty good....i think the interaction is amazing...very very funny...and better than nadia and kevin's relationship...haha....

wish im sitting there instead of halina, mayb i will photoshop...let's see..haha

I won't give a 5/5 for the show, but i give 5/5 for wayne, 2/5 for the show, but because of wayne, i give 4/5 for the show...i think its highly recommended to watch this.....

next i will move back to series in 2007...
